Ribbers present their food for judging Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in front of the main stage.
Our celebrity-judging panel will decide which Ribbers have presented them with the best ribs and best sauce.

People’s Choice Award
People’s Choice Award is just that.
You get a say in who had the Best Ribs and sauce on the weekend.
The Ribbers want bragging rights so be sure to vote for the food you most enjoyed!

50/50 Draw
* The Celebration of Lights and Esquimalt High School Rugby groups holding the 50/50 draws are not part of Ribfest and each entity is solely responsible for its 50/ 50 draw and other fundraising activities. 
Please check out the 50/50 booth for information and details.

*The winner must be in attendance. Numbers will continue to be drawn until there is a winner.

CELEBRATION OF LIGHTS – Saturday, September 7th
The Celebration of Lights is a community non-profit organization that is also a vendor at Esquimalt Ribfest.
With its partners, Celebration of Lights and its volunteers work to bring the Esquimalt community a light parade and music event that gathers at the Esquimalt Arena plaza. Money raised by the Celebration of Lights group is used to buy lights and decorations for the Township of Esquimalt and to fund the event itself. See their website.


ESQUIMALT HIGH SCHOOL RUGBY ACADEMY – Sunday, September 8th
The Esquimalt High School Rugby Academy (EHRA) focuses on high caliber athletic participation,
academic excellence and character development.  The Academy provides a quality program that develops
all athletes both physically and mentally to create active and well-rounded citizens.  We make an exceptional effort to include all athletes who want to be part of this program.  By providing a supportive and challenging environment with the help of Rugby Canada’s elite athletes, the EHRA helps all athletes to achieve their full potential.
